Install Tips

• Removing Damaged Flight Hardware: Use a precision micro screwdriver to back out the primary retention bolts and step-washers holding the damaged blades inside the main rotor hub grips; slide the old blade roots clear of the tracks.

• Correct Leading-Edge Rotational Orientation: Slide the mounting root of the new black blade into the metal rotor grip; ensure the blunt, aerodynamic leading edge faces forward into the direction of rotation, while the thin trailing edge points backward.

• Calibrating Optimal Grip Retention Tightness: Reinsert the factory hardware screw and tighten until snug; the blade should be tight enough to not flop loosely under its own gravity when the helicopter is held sideways, yet loose enough to swing straight automatically via centrifugal forces upon motor spin-up.
