Install Tips

• Removing the Damaged Tail section: Carefully slice away any remaining foam shards or glue residue from the upper rear slot of the fuselage tail section; ensure the mounting channel is clean, dry, and flat.

• Aligning the Base Spline: Take the vertical fin assembly; dry-fit the bottom insertion rail straight down into the fuselage tail alignment track.

• Securing with Foam Safe Glue: Apply a thin, even layer of foam-safe medium CA glue or contact cement to the bottom contact plastic and foam tabs; press the vertical fin down firmly into the channel, holding it perfectly perpendicular (90 degrees) to the horizontal stabilizer until the adhesive cures completely.

• Connecting the Pushrod Linkage: Once the tail section is rigidly locked, snap the steel rudder pushrod clevis into the factory control horn socket located near the bottom hinge cutout; run a pre-flight radio check to ensure the rudder deflects evenly left and right without binding.
