Maintenance Tips

  • After nose-overs or rough landings, check the prop, spinner and landing gear for bends, cracks or loosened screws
  • Keep linkages and hinges moving freely; any binding can make the P-51D harder to trim and less stable
  • Store LiPo packs around 40–60% charge when not flying to extend battery lifespan and keep performance consistent
