Red & White Fuselage Canopy Body Shell Set for RC ERA C184 MD530 Helicopter(Red/Gray)
Fix Fractured Fuselage Panels, Broken Mounting Tabs, and Refresh Your Damaged Airframe Back to Factory Showroom Finish
A cracked or warped outer shell does more than just ruin the beautiful scale realism of your 1/48 MD530. Major structural fractures or broken inner screw loops leave your core electronics, servo linkages, and main motor dangerously exposed to dust, moisture, and impact debris. Furthermore, a loose or rattling canopy creates asymmetric aerodynamic flutter and harsh vibration patterns during rapid transitions, which directly corrupts the telemetry readings on your downward-facing optical flow positioning sensor. This factory-original red and white split-canopy body shell kit instantly restores full structural integrity, providing a clean, tightly sealed protective envelope that isolates your internal boards while giving your aircraft a fresh, striking civil-aviation style look. Ships worldwide.
Product Highlights
Stunning High-Gloss Civil Design Layout: Finished in a vibrant, high-contrast factory gloss red and crisp white paint scheme with clear window lines to deliver excellent long-distance visual tracking orientation.
Shatter-Resistant Flexible Engineering Composite: Injection-molded from an advanced lightweight polymer designed to safely flex and absorb impact energies during hard landings rather than instantly snapping.
Precision-Molded Split Port/Starboard Shells: Engineered to strict factory blueprints ensuring flawless interlocking seams and perfect alignment over the internal alloy mainframe chassis.
Aero-Optimized Internal Routing Profiles: Features molded-in interior wiring channels and specialized placement bezels to securely shield your front headlights and rear navigation wires.
Compatibility
For the RC ERA C184 MD530 only. Full model page (specs & photos):
Stripping the Damaged Body Housing: Use your micro screwdriver to remove the perimeter shell fixation screws; carefully pull apart the left and right split panels and unseat the front headlight and tail navigation light modules before discarding the broken pieces.
Internal Frame and LED Assembly Placement: Securely tuck your primary flight controller receiver board and brushless motors into the chassis bed; route the red and black searchlight wire forward into the nose slots, and thread the tail light loom neatly through the hollow interior rear boom channel.
Interlocking the Left and Right Hull Segments: Line up the alignment tabs of the new red and white canopy pieces together around the mechanics; hand-thread the factory retention screws back into the mounting holes and tighten until snug, ensuring you do not over-torque and strip the plastic threads.
Pre-Flight Main Drive Clearance Verification: Set the freshly skinned helicopter onto your level technical workbench pad; spin the white main reduction drive gear and cyclic linkages by hand to guarantee no moving parts rub against the inner walls of the new shell, ensuring the underside optical flow camera lens sits perfectly square and clear.
