Install Tips

• Feathering Shaft Integration: Slide the assembled blade grips onto the main feathering shaft. Ensure the internal F1 bearings and brass grip sleeves are perfectly centered before tightening the horizontal spindle screws.

• Upper Linkage Arm & Hardware: When securing the plastic linkage control arms to the metal grips, place the arm washers and control arm sleeves in position, then tighten with the included phillips round head screws. Do not over-torque to avoid binding the arm pivot.

• Pre-Flight Binding Check: Once fully assembled, rotate the blade grips and move the control arms by hand; the pitch-change mechanism must feel buttery smooth with absolutely zero sticking or grit.

• Thread Protection: Apply a tiny drop of medium threadlocker (blue Loctite) to any metal-to-metal screws to prevent them from backing out due to high-frequency rotor head vibrations.
