Metal Rotor Head Cap Upgrade Set for RC ERA C189 MD500
The Ultimate Aesthetic and Durability Upgrade
Plastic rotor caps can become stripped or cracked over time, leading to a loose rotor assembly and a "cheap" look. This machined aluminum rotor cap solves durability issues while providing a high-end, professional finish to your scale MD500, ensuring your main rotor assembly remains securely fastened and visually stunning. Ships worldwide.
Product Highlights
Impact Protection: Unlike plastic, this metal cap protects the central rotor head screw from dirt and impact damage during rough landings.
Premium Scale Finish: Features a polished metallic look that perfectly complements the high-detail scale fuselage of the RC ERA C189.
Vibration Reduction: The increased rigidity and precision weight of the metal cap help stabilize the rotor head spin at high RPMs.

Install Tips
Thread Locker Required: Since this is a metal-on-metal connection, apply a tiny drop of blue thread locker to the mounting screw to prevent it from vibrating loose.
Manual Tightening: Hand-tighten the cap until snug; do not use power tools, as you want to avoid over-compressing the feathering shaft assembly underneath.
Centering: Ensure the cap is perfectly centered on the rotor hub before final tightening to prevent high-speed centrifugal imbalance.
