RC ERA C170 Side Lights LED Navigation Set for 1:48 Scale Apache Helicopter
Restore Lost Night Flight Orientation, Fix Unresponsive Navigation Lamps, and Maintain True Military Scale Realism
The fuselage side navigation lights are essential for maintaining clear visual orientation and tracking your aircraft's heading during low-light sessions or rapid 3D stunt mode maneuvers. For a highly detailed 1:48 scale model like the RC ERA C170 Longbow Apache, these port and starboard marker lamps provide the authentic tactical look of a real attack helicopter. However, hard side impacts, fuselage scrapes, or wire pinches during repairs can easily snap the micro-gauge power leads, crack the LED resin bulbs, or pull the wires right out of their terminal plugs. Flying with dead or flickering navigation markers makes sunset flights highly risky and ruins the scale presence of your drone. Replacing your broken lighting lines with this factory-original red and green side light group instantly fixes connection dropouts and brightens your flight path for safer operation. Ships worldwide.
Product Highlights
Standard Aviation Navigation Configuration: Includes one high-intensity green LED for the starboard flank and one vibrant red LED for the port side to deliver true-to-life scale positioning.
Pre-Soldered Low-Resistance Leads: Comes equipped with flexible, lightweight red and black power distribution wires as shown to easily route around inner frame obstacles.
Protective Heat Shrink Reinforcement: Features heavy-duty black insulation sleeves pre-applied over the delicate resistor-to-bulb solder joints to resist vibration snapping.
Micro 2-Pin Quick-Connect Plugs: Fitted with factory-matched micro terminal blocks for effortless, solder-free connection directly into the master power distribution board slots.
Compatibility
For the RC ERA C170 1:48 Scale Longbow Apache RC Helicopter only. Full model page (specs & photos):
Removing the Damaged Flank Wiring: Unfasten the main fuselage halves; trace the broken side marker lines to the main receiver or power hub, unplug the tiny 2-pin connectors, and gently slide the dead bulbs out of their plastic hull housing rings.
Allocating and Snapping the Bulbs: Identify the correct side positions for the fresh lights shown (typically, red goes on the left/port side and green goes on the right/starboard side of the Apache airframe); press the clear resin LED heads firmly into their dedicated fuselage side lens brackets until they sit flush.
Threading the Wire Harness Safely: Route the insulated red and black lines carefully along the interior structural channels of the chassis, using a micro drop of tape or plastic clips to keep the loops completely away from moving swashplate linkages or cyclic servo arms.
Plugging into Power and Function Check: Insert the mini 2-pin terminal plugs straight into the designated side-light socket banks on the board; temporarily power up your RC ERA C170 to verify both indicators illuminate brightly before buttoning up your fuselage shells.
