Install Tips

• Sorting the Screws Before Installation: Lay out the hardware mix shown on a magnetic repair mat; group the large pile of short body self-tapping screws away from the long engine cowl screws and the specialized silver step pins to ensure you don't use the wrong length in a shallow hole.

• Assembling Fuselage Shell Screws: Use a precisely sized micro Philips screwdriver; thread the small black self-tapping screws directly into the outer scale shell joints, and stop turning the instant the screw head seats flush to prevent stripping out the inner plastic mounting columns.

• Installing the Long Chassis/Motor Screws: Slide the extended black machine screws through the thick upper engine nacelle or center main frame blocks; tighten them down in an alternating diagonal pattern to distribute clamping pressure evenly across the internal mechanical chassis.
