RC ERA C170 Landing Gear Wheels Set for 1:48 Scale Longbow Apache RC Helicopter
Fix Broken Landing Struts, Prevent Hard Ground Impacts, and Restore Safe Off-Road Takeoffs and Landings
The landing gear assembly is your helicopter's primary defense against ground friction and touchdown impacts, keeping the delicate lower fuselage and scale weapons bays safe from damage. For a highly detailed 1:48 scale model like the RC ERA C170 Longbow Apache, practicing auto-landings or executing intense 3D stunt maneuvers can sometimes lead to rough field touchdowns. Hard landings, tip-overs, or asphalt friction can easily crack the scale plastic struts, strip the mounting brackets, or wear down the wheels. Flying with a broken or bent landing gear cause your helicopter to tilt on takeoff, leading to catastrophic main blade strikes or tail rotor ground hits. Replacing your damaged parts with this factory-original RC ERA C170 landing gear group instantly restores structural stability, ensures a level stance, and protects your scale avionic investments. Ships worldwide.

Compatibility
For the RC ERA C170 1:48 Scale Longbow Apache RC Helicopter only. Full model page (specs & photos):
Removing Damaged Landing Hardware: Use a precision cross-head screwdriver to back out the worn or stripped mounting screws from the lower fuselage of your Apache; pull the broken struts and tail wheel bracket straight out of their chassis sockets.
Installing the Front Main Landing Struts: Take the left and right main gear struts shown and press their upper mounting pins firmly into the corresponding dual sockets on the forward belly of the airframe until seated flush.
Mounting the Rear Tail Wheel Bracket: Slide the specialized scale tail wheel structure into the slot at the base of the tail boom; align the screw hole on the bracket with the factory hole in the plastic fuselage structure.
Securing the Complete Assembly: Thread the included black screws from the pack into the mounting holes on each strut and the tail bracket; tighten until snug, being careful not to over-torque or strip the inner plastic threads of the helicopter frame before testing your next takeoff.
