Vertical & Horizontal Tail Fin Stabilizer Set for RC ERA C189 MD500
Critical Aerodynamic Balance for Smooth Flight
The tail fins on an MD500 aren't just for show—they provide essential passive stability during forward flight. Damaged or missing fins can cause "tail wag" or erratic yaw behavior. This replacement stabilizer set solves directional stability issues, ensuring your RC ERA C189 tracks straight while completing the iconic T-tail silhouette of the MD500. Ships worldwide.
Product Highlights
Color-Matched Performance: Available in Military Green and Red/White to perfectly complement your C189 fuselage for a cohesive scale look.
Flexible Impact Resistance: Built from a resilient composite that can flex during rough landings, reducing the risk of snapping compared to rigid plastics.
Tool-Free Installation: Designed for a precise friction-fit into the tail boom slots, allowing for quick field repairs without complex tools.
Improved Orientation: The high-visibility Red/White option or tactical Military Green helps pilots track the helicopter's attitude in different lighting conditions.
1 x Vertical and Horizontal Tail Fin Stabilizer Set (Note: Select your preferred color: Military Green or Red & White).
Install Tips
Clean Mounting Slots: Ensure the narrow slots at the end of the tail boom are clear of any debris or old glue before sliding the new fins in.
Symmetry Check: Once installed, ensure the horizontal stabilizers are level with the ground to prevent unwanted rolling tendencies during high-speed flight.
Secure Fit: If the fins feel loose in the slots, a tiny amount of plastic-safe CA glue can be used to permanently lock them in place.
