QIDI-550 Propeller Collet Set (4 Pack) Adapter for Brushless RC Airplane
Eliminate Propeller Slippage, Fix Stripped Shaft Mounts, and Secure High-RPM 3D Stunt Flight
A worn, deformed, or loose propeller collet adapter on your QIDI-550 3D Stunt RC Airplane causes dangerous blade slippage, high-frequency vibration, and loss of thrust during aggressive 6CH aerobatic maneuvers. Hard landings and ground strikes frequently stress the aluminum collet body, rounding out shaft tolerances or stripping the retaining threads. Flying with a damaged collet risks the propeller detaching mid-air or damaging your brushless motor shaft. This official QIDI-550 Propeller Collet 4-piece value set completely resolves shaft clamping issues. Machined from high-grade aircraft aluminum, each collet provides a uniform 360-degree compression grip around the motor shaft, ensuring true center rotation, vibration-free thrust transfer, and instant replacement spares for your flight kit. Ships worldwide.
Product Highlights
CNC-Machined Aircraft Aluminum: Lightweight yet highly durable construction that resists warping under high-torque brushless acceleration and 3D aerobatic stress.
Uniform 360-Degree Compression Lock: Tapered collet design expands evenly over the motor shaft to eliminate blade vibration and high-speed shaft wobble.
Convenient 4-Piece Value Bundle: Includes four complete collet adapters so you always have field-ready replacements on hand during flying sessions.
Exact Factory Diameter Alignment: Precision bored to fit the QIDI-550 brushless motor output shaft and standard 3D prop center hubs without modification.
Compatibility
For the QIDI-550 3D Stunt RC Airplane only. Full model page (specs & photos):
Removing Damaged Collet: Loosen the front spinner nut, slide the worn collet sleeve off the motor shaft, and clean any debris or metal filings from the shaft surface.
Seating New Collet Sleeve: Slide the inner tapered sleeve of the QIDI-550 Propeller Collet onto the brushless motor shaft until it sits flush against the motor housing collar.
Mounting Propeller & Nut: Position the propeller hub onto the collet barrel, add the washer, and thread the front retaining bullet nut on by hand.
Final Torque & Spin Test: Tighten the front nut securely with a wrench to engage the taper lock, then spin the prop by hand to confirm 100% wobble-free rotation before powering up.
