Install Tips

• Removing the Damaged Gear Units: Firmly grasp the old bent metal strut at the wing root base and pull it straight outward from the molded plastic mounting block inside the main EPP foam wing underbelly.

• Aligning and Seating the New Steel Struts: Identify the left and right units by matching the aerodynamic curve of the red-and-yellow fairing plates; insert the top L-shaped steel pin tip directly into the dedicated wing-socket channel.

• Securing the Friction Lock Engagement: Press the wire upward firmly until the strut seat clicks securely into the molded retention recess, ensuring the decorative doors face forward toward the nose cowl.

• Pre-Flight Rolling and Tracking Alignment Calibration: Place the warbird on a flat table or level floor track; look from the front tip to verify that both wheels stand vertically parallel with zero twisting. Gently roll the plane forward by hand to ensure it tracks perfectly straight before throttling up into your next brushless flight run.
