Install Tips

• Main Shaft Installation: Slide the steel shaft vertically down through the main bearings and the swashplate guide; ensure the pre-milled flat indentation faces the correct orientation for the collar lock.

• Fixing Collar Setup: Slide the aluminum fixing ring onto the designated alignment section of the shaft; compress it slightly against the bearing block to remove vertical play before tightening.

• Grub Screw Fastening: Always apply a drop of medium threadlocker (blue Loctite) to the small black grub screw before driving it into the collar flat spot to prevent it from loosening under high vibration.

• Vertical Tolerances Check: Once fully tightened, pull up and down firmly on the rotor head; there should be absolutely zero vertical slop or play, yet the entire assembly must rotate freely by hand.
