3pcs Servo Linkage Rod Set Replacement for RC ERA C184 MD530 Helicopter

Eliminate Servo Slop, Fix Cyclic Lag, and Lock In Rock-Solid Optical Flow Hovering

During high-speed flights, sudden maneuvers, or hard landings, the microscopic control linkages on a micro-scale helicopter endure immense mechanical stress. Over time, the internal plastic walls of the ball cups stretch out or crack, creating unwanted slack ("slop") between the steering servos and the swashplate. For the 1/48 scale RC ERA C184 MD530, even a fraction of a millimeter of play will cause sluggish cyclic control, unprovoked drifting during optical flow hovers, or strange wobbles that confuse the flybarless flight controller. Replacing your worn pushrods with this factory-fresh, pre-sized 3-piece servo linkage pack instantly restores a zero-slop mechanical connection, bringing back the razor-sharp steering and pinpoint stability your aircraft had on day one.  Ships worldwide.

Product Highlights

  • Perfect 3-Piece Cyclic Overhaul: Pack includes three identical, factory-molded pushrod links, allowing you to fully refresh all cyclic servo connections to the lower swashplate ring at once.

  • Wear-Resistant Molded Ball Cups: Formed from a self-lubricating, high-impact composite polymer that snaps tightly onto factory steel balls without introducing frictional drag or tight binding.

  • Rigid One-Piece Structural Core: Engineerd with an optimized structural thickness to prevent the rod from flexing or bowing under high aerodynamic steering loads during banking maneuvers.

  • Zero-Setup Fixed Length Matching: Injection-molded to exact factory dimensions, eliminating the need for manual millimeter-level calibrations on the bench and ensuring immediate swashplate leveling.

Compatibility

What’s in the Box

  • 1 x RC ERA C184 Linkage Rods

Install Tips

  • Identifying Linkage Positions: These three short, fixed-length linkages are designed specifically to connect your three onboard cyclic steering servos directly to the lower ring of the swashplate assembly.

  • Correct Ball Cup Snapping Direction: When snapping the molded link eyes onto the servo arms and swashplate balls, always ensure the smoother, cleaner-edged side faces outward; pressing them on backward can pinch the housing rim and cause severe servo motor binding.

  • Pre-Installation Servo Centering: Turn on your RC ERA transmitter and power up the helicopter on a flat, non-slip technical pad; ensure all servo arms are perfectly horizontal (neutral 90 degrees) before gently popping the new linkages into place.

  • Optical Flow Telemetry Verification: Once installed, manually verify that the swashplate sits completely level; removing slop from these links lowers high-frequency airframe harmonics, allowing your downward-facing optical flow camera sensor module to lock its positioning data with flawless precision.
