Install Tips

• Removing Worn Gearbox Unit: Peel back the nose cowl foam section, disconnect the motor leads from the receiver board, and slide the damaged gearbox assembly out from the fuselage nose mount.

• Seating New Gearbox Assembly: Position the Sport Cub 500 Gearbox Set into the front foam bay, ensuring the outer housing sits flush and parallel to the aircraft center line.

• Securing Motor & Wiring Harness: Align the coreless motor firmly inside the gearbox housing, connect the wire plug to the mainboard socket, and secure the foam cowl using foam-safe glue.
