Install Tips

• Removing the Faulty Rear Lighting: Carefully unfasten your Apache tail boom structure and fuselage halves; disconnect the small 2-pin lighting connector from the master controller board, unseat the damaged red bulb from the tail cap slot, and pull the old wire line free.

• Threading the Extended Power Cable: Feed the micro 2-pin plug end of the new light assembly shown from the rear tail tip forward through the inner hollow channels of the tail boom frame, making absolutely sure the wire line does not wrap around or rub against the inner tail motor drive shafts.

• Seating the Bulb in the Tail Fin Housing: Gently press the red LED resin head into its dedicated positioning bracket at the very rear tip of the vertical tail assembly until it locks flush into place.

• Plugging into the Controller and Testing: Insert the micro terminal plug straight into the matching tail-light socket on your flight controller board; connect a fresh battery to your RC ERA C170 to check that the red rear marker illuminates steadily before buttoning up your fuselage shells.
