Landing on rough surfaces or grass can easily stress the original plastic mounts, causing them to crack or lose their grip on the metal struts. These P-40 RC Plane Landing Gear Holders are the perfect solution for repairing a damaged undercarriage system, ensuring your wheels remain perfectly vertical and stable. By replacing worn holders, you protect the foam wings from structural damage and ensure your 4-channel warbird can continue to perform realistic scale landings without the risk of a gear collapse. Ships worldwide.
Product Highlights
Reinforced Structural Design: Specifically molded from high-impact ABS to handle the vertical loads of 400mm wingspan aircraft during repeated landing cycles.
Precision Strut Locking: Features a secure internal channel designed to "hold" the metal landing gear wire tightly, preventing the wheels from wobbling or rotating mid-flight.
Perfect Scale Compatibility: These holders are factory-spec parts, guaranteeing a flush fit into the pre-cut slots of your P-40 Warbird without modifying the EPP foam.
Compatibility
For the P-40 Warbird RC Fighteronly. Full model page (specs & photos):
Removal of Old Parts: Carefully remove any remnants of the damaged holder and old glue from the wing or fuselage slot to ensure a smooth, clean surface for the new part.
Adhesive Selection: We recommend using foam-safe glue or a strong epoxy on the back of the holder; press it firmly into the slot and hold for 60 seconds to ensure a permanent bond.
Strut Testing: After the glue has fully cured, snap the metal landing gear strut into the holder; verify that the wheel is aligned straight and doesn't rub against any part of the airframe.
