Install Tips

• Rotor Head and Hub Disassembly: Unbolt your main rotor cap and slide the entire 4-blade rotor head mechanism straight off the top of the main drive mast.

• Linkage Disconnection and Slide Removal: Pop the existing plastic lower servo linkages off your original steering disk; slide the old swashplate assembly upward and clean any old grease, dirt, or dust accumulation off the steel drive shaft.

• Metal Swashplate Core Seating: Slide your new CNC metal swashplate squarely down onto the main rotor mast, ensuring that the brass inner alignment collar moves freely up and down the guide path without scratching or hanging up.

• Linkage Snapping and Pre-Flight Alignment: Click your three main cyclic servo rod eyes back onto the lower swashplate linkage balls, and snap the upper linkages to your blade grips; power on your C180 receiver to confirm the swashplate rises, drops, and tilts completely flat across its full mechanical travel before take-off.
