Steel Main Rotor Head Feathering Shafts Cross Axis Pack for RC ERA C180
Eliminate Violent Main Rotor Shaking and Re-stabilize 3D Flight
A slightly bent horizontal feathering shaft from an abrupt blade strike or a minor tip-over will introduce subtle track misalignments, causing violent main rotor head shaking and massive servo strain. For the RC ERA C180 BO105 3D Stunt Edition, keeping the blade grips perfectly parallel along the cross axis is mandatory for managing extreme pitch transitions. This factory-original steel feathering shaft spindle set solves the problem of erratic tracking splits and high-RPM head vibration, completely restoring crisp 6-channel flight tracking and rock-solid aerobatic handling. Ships worldwide.
Product Highlights
Essential 4-Piece Repair Pack: Packaged neatly with 4 identical, heavy-duty replacement horizontal axles to ensure you always have spares on hand after a crash.
Premium Hardened Steel Build: Forged from structural high-tensile steel to minimize flexing and resist bending distortion during high-velocity 3D negative-G pitch dumps.
Integrated Hex Nut Collars: Features a precision CNC-machined shoulder nut design integrated directly onto the spindle core to ensure dead-center placement inside the rotor hub.
Clean Machine-Threaded Ends: Engineered with factory-standard threaded mounting studs that accept lock screws smoothly without stripping out your main rotor blade grips.
Compatibility
For the RC ERA C180 1:25 Scale BO105 6-Channel Brushless RC Helicopter only. Full model page (specs & photos):
Bent Axle Disassembly: Remove the main blade grip screws from both sides of the rotor head casing; slide out the damaged horizontal spindle and check that the internal dampening rubber rings are unmarred.
Spindle Seating & Greasing: Lightly coat the new steel feathering shaft with a thin layer of high-grade silicone grease; push it carefully through the main rotor center hub until the center shoulder blocks align symmetrically.
Blade Grips Re-securing: Slide the left and right blade grips over the threaded shaft ends; add a tiny drop of blue thread-locker (Loctite) to your fastening screws, then tighten them from both ends simultaneously using matching drivers.
Pre-Flight Play Inspection: Pull outward firmly on both blade grips by hand to confirm there is zero horizontal slop or axial play along the steel axle, yet ensure they still pivot smoothly before spinning up the brushless system.
