Install Tips

• Side Identification: Carefully check the root orientation of each fin; ensure the aerodynamic curved surface is facing upward and matching the left and right designated slots on the tail boom.

• Fuselage Slotting: Clean out any debris or glue residue from the tail boom slot before inserting the new fins, sliding them inward until they sit flush against the airframe.

• Secure Adhesive Application: For optimal security against high-vibration dual brushless motor operation, apply a very small amount of plastic-safe epoxy or foam glue to the mounting tab before insertion.

• Alignment Verification: Before the glue fully cures, stand behind the helicopter to verify that both tail wings are completely level with each other and perfectly perpendicular to the vertical fin.
