Install Tips

• Faulty Motor Disassembly: Desolder or disconnect the three old power lines from the main controller loom; unscrew the retaining hardware on the tail pod frame to slide out the damaged outrunner motor.

• Chassis Pod Seating: Align the lower alignment tabs of the new brushless tail motor housing into the rear tail boom seat; ensure the 3 colored wire leads slide smoothly into the internal wire routing guide canal without being pinched.

• Hex Screw Security: Insert the included black hex screw into the structural pod frame mount and tighten it into the motor base; use blue thread-locker (Loctite) on the threads to prevent the screw from backing out due to high-frequency motor vibrations.

• Electrical Connection Check: Connect or solder the red, black, and yellow wires to their corresponding electronic speed controller ports; run a brief low-RPM spin test on the bench to verify the tail rotor rotates in the correct direction before taking off into 3D stunt tracking.
