Replacement Main Blade Grip Ball Rotor Bearings Pack of 4 for RC ERA C180
Eliminate Rotor Head Play and Fix Spongy Collective Pitch Tracking
Gritty, rusted, or blown-out internal bearings create sticky mechanical resistance and unwanted axial play right at the blade root. For the RC ERA C180 BO105 3D Stunt Edition helicopter, running a high-RPM 4-blade rotor head during sharp inverted flips puts immense radial load on the blade clamps. This factory-original 4-piece micro ball bearing set solves the issue of grinding rotor fiction and split blade tracking, completely restoring smooth rotational inertia and crisp cyclic precision. Ships worldwide.
Product Highlights
Essential 4-Piece Maintenance Pack: Includes exactly 4 matched micro silver steel ball bearings to fully refresh or rebuild your flybarless head assembly.
Chrome Steel Construction: Fabricated from high-grade, low-wear chrome steel optimized to withstand radial spinning forces and severe aerobatic collective pitch loads.
Pre-Lubricated Dual Shielding: Factory-sealed with lightweight synthetic grease to block out fine field dust, grit, and moisture, ensuring fluid, friction-free operation.
Perfect Dimensional Tolerances: Engineered to match the exact inner and outer diameters of the C180's factory horizontal feathering shaft and composite blade grips.
Compatibility
For the RC ERA C180 1:25 Scale BO105 6-Channel Brushless RC Helicopter only. Full model page (specs & photos):
Worn Bearing Extraction: Remove your main blades and slide the blade grips off the cross spindle; use a micro hex driver or rod tool to gently tap the old, gritty bearings out from the inner and outer seats of the plastic holders.
Square Press-In Seating: Clean the inside of the blade grip bores thoroughly; line up the new silver ball bearing centered over the opening and press it straight down until it sits completely flush against the inner structural shoulder.
Feathering Shaft Greasing: Slide a micro drop of thin synthetic bearing oil onto the metal cross spindle before sliding the bearing-loaded grips back into position; this prevents binding and keeps the hub spinning freely.
Pre-Flight Play Inspection: Tighten your grip hardware bolts down snug; pull outward firmly on each blade grip by hand to verify that all axial play is gone, yet ensure they pivot smoothly with zero sticking before clicking into a high-speed 3D flight.
