Install Tips

  • Tail Blade Mounting: Align the center hole of the tail blade with the tail motor shaft hub; ensure the aerodynamic leading edge is oriented correctly for counter-clockwise rotation.

  • Hex Screw Fastening: Use the included hex socket cap screws to secure the blades; tighten until snug but avoid over-torquing to prevent stripping the motor hub threads.

  • Vibration Check: After installation, spin the tail rotor manually to ensure it is centered and tracks straight; a wobbly tail rotor can cause electronic interference with the GPS flight controller.

  • Hardware Inspection: Periodically check the tightness of the hex screws, as the high vibration frequency of the tail motor can occasionally loosen hardware over time.
