Qidi 560 RC Plane – Transmitter Beeping FAQ
Q: Why does the transmitter beep several times after 5–8 minutes of flying my Qidi 560 RC plane? A: This is a normal alert. The transmitter is reminding you that the flight battery on the aircraft has been used for a few minutes and it’s time to consider landing. It’s similar to a flight-time / low-voltage reminder. Control stays normal, so you can make one more circuit and land safely.
Q: Is the beeping a transmitter battery issue? A: No. If your transmitter AA batteries are fully charged and the beeps only appear after a few minutes of flight, it is not a TX battery warning. It is related to the aircraft (flight) battery.
Q: Can I ignore the beeps and keep flying? A: You can usually keep flying for a short time, but for battery health and safety we recommend landing when the long series of beeps starts. Over-discharging an RC airplane Li-ion/LiPo pack can shorten its life.
Q: The beeps do not happen when I toggle the rate/mode switch on the ground. Is that normal? A: Yes. Mode/rate changes may make a short tone, but the long 5–6 beeps only happen in flight after several minutes, because they depend on battery usage and flight time.
Q: What should I check if the transmitter starts beeping immediately after take-off? A:
Make sure the aircraft battery is fully charged.
Try another battery of the correct voltage/capacity.
Fly in an open field away from power lines or Wi-Fi sources. If it still beeps right away, contact us with a short video and your order number.
Q: How can I get longer flight time with the Qidi 560? A: Use a fully charged, good-condition battery of the recommended spec, avoid full-throttle flying all the time, and land when the reminder beeps start.
