Install Tips

• LED Diode Side Alignment: Route the green LED side light to the starboard (right) fuselage bay and the red LED side light to the port (left) fuselage bay; secure the diodes flush inside the transparent lens ports using a micro-drop of plastic-safe adhesive.

• Extension Terminal Wire Routing: Lay the red-black and red-white terminal leads smoothly along the inner channels of the helicopter's chassis; keep the cables tucked clear of moving parts like cyclic servos or rotating main gear shafts.

• Heat Shrink Sleeve Application: Before joining bare wire paths together, slide the 4 included black heat shrink sleeves onto the cables; after finishing your electrical connection, center the sleeves directly over the joint and apply gentle heat with a heat gun or lighter to shrink them tight and waterproof the circuit.

• Mainboard Port Connectivity: Plug the white terminal socket adapters straight into the matching side-light channels on your C180 receiver board; fire up your transmitter and test that both left and right indicators illuminate continuously before buttoning up the main outer shell.
