Install Tips

• Feathering Shaft & Screws: Slide the steel spindle through the main rotor head hub; apply a drop of medium threadlocker (blue Loctite) to the hex cup screws before locking down the blade grips.

• Brass Fixed Washers: Place the stepped brass fixed washers correctly against the internal rubber dampeners; the raised side must face toward the bearing to ensure smooth, unhindered pivot action.

• Flat Steel Washers: Ensure the silver flat washers are installed between the screw head and the outer edge of the blade grip bearing to distribute fastening pressure evenly.

• Play Check: After fully tightening the screws from both sides, pull outward on both blade grips; they should rotate smoothly without any clicking or gritty feeling, and there should be zero horizontal play.
