Replacement LED Tail Light Indicator Cable Wire Set for RC ERA C184 MD530

Fix Intermittent Flickering, Blown Diodes, and Restore Vital Low-Light Orientational Tracking

During aggressive scale banking maneuvers or tail-first tracking runs, a functional tail navigation beacon is critical for visual orientation, especially under low-light or dusky conditions. Due to high vibration loads inside the thin tail boom or pinching during fuselage assembly, the delicate internal copper strands of the lighting circuit can fray, snap, or short out entirely. For the 1/48 scale RC ERA C184 MD530, a dead or flickering rear beacon makes line-of-sight night tracking nearly impossible and hinders quick visual posture recognition. This factory-original C184 replacement LED tail light assembly directly swaps out damaged lighting looms, instantly returning a crisp, constant warning pulse to the rear assembly.  Ships worldwide.

Product Highlights

  • High-Lumen Red Aviation Signal LED: Built with a premium, low-draw miniature solid-state red LED capsule that punches cleanly through haze and dusk with minimal current consumption.

  • Pre-Crimped Miniature Pluggable Terminal: Terminated with a standardized ultra-miniature 2-pin JST micro-plug connector that snaps directly into the main receiver or distribution block without requiring soldering.

  • High-Flexibility Insulated Silicone Shielding: Features premium insulated dual-strand black and white routing leads designed to bend effortlessly through tight tail booms without kinking or stripping the jacket.

  • Drop-In Factory Fit Dimensioning: Pre-cut to the exact length required to span from the central controller board all the way through the fuselage to the tail cap without excess wire clutter.

Compatibility

For the RC ERA C184 MD530 only.

What’s in the Box

  • 1 x RC ERA C184 Tail Light

Install Tips

  • Extracting Damaged Signal Looms: Open the fuselage mid-sections and carefully unplug the small 2-pin power jack from the side port of the main flight controller receiver board; gently slide the old wire harness out through the inner tracking tube of the tail boom shell.

  • Threading the New Beacon Cable Assembly: Carefully feed the raw red LED tip through the rear fuselage channels until the bulb seats into the transparent scale tail lens bezel; utilize a guide string or non-marring tool if necessary to pull the black/white leads straight toward the front cabin.

  • Plugging Into the Main Controller Matrix: Plug the white mini JST terminal block securely into the designated auxiliary light port on the primary circuit board block; confirm the polarity matches the header pins perfectly and ensure the wire path is clear of spinning main drive gears.

  • Static Telemetry and Signal Testing Loop: Secure the scale body shell back together using your micro screwdriver kit; set the helicopter onto your level helipad marker grid, switch on your wireless radio remote controller unit, and power up the main helicopter battery to verify that the red tail beacon glows continuously before clearing the aircraft for dusk or low-light test tracking.
