Replacement Control Horns for P-40 Warbird RC Fighter 400mm 4CH Plane
Precision Control for High-Speed Aerobatics
Broken or loose control horns are a common issue after hard landings or intense aerobatic maneuvers, leading to unresponsive flight or "flutter" in your control surfaces. For the P-40 Warbird RC Fighter, having a rock-solid connection between your servos and the rudder/elevator is essential for maintaining the 4CH aerobatic performance you love. These replacement control horns solve the problem of worn mounting points, restoring the precise mechanical leverage needed for sharp turns, loops, and rolls. Ships worldwide.
Product Highlights
High-G Impact Resistance: Molded from reinforced black nylon, these horns are designed to withstand the stress of high-speed maneuvers and rough outdoor landings.
Multi-Hole Adjustment Design: Features three precision-drilled holes, allowing you to fine-tune your control throws for either smooth beginner flight or aggressive aerobatic response.
Secure Backplate Mounting: Each horn comes with a dedicated snap-on backplate, ensuring a "sandwich" grip on the EPP foam that won't pull out under tension.
Lightweight Aero Profile: Optimized to provide maximum leverage with minimum weight, preserving the perfectly balanced flight characteristics of the 400mm P-40.
Compatibility
For the P-40 Warbird RC Fighter only. Full model page (specs & photos):
Positioning the Horn: Insert the serrated post of the control horn through the pre-cut slot in the foam control surface (aileron, elevator, or rudder); ensure the holes face the hinge line.
Backplate Fastening: Slide the square backplate onto the post from the opposite side of the foam; press firmly until it clicks to lock the horn securely in place.
Linkage Alignment: Connect your pushrod clevis to the desired hole; for beginners, use the hole furthest from the surface, and for pro aerobatics, use the hole closest to the surface.
Reinforcement Tip: For added security during high-speed 4CH flight, a small drop of foam-safe glue (UHU POR) can be applied between the horn base and the EPP surface.
