Install Tips

• Removing Damaged Gear: Gently pull the old wire strut out of the fuselage mounting clip/slot, taking care not to tear or compress the surrounding EPO foam.

• Pressing Struts into Fuselage: Align the wire mounting pins of the new FX9706 Landing Gear with the plastic retainers inside the lower fuselage, then press firmly until fully seated.

• Securing Wheel Retainers: Inspect the wheel caps to ensure the wheels spin freely on the axles without excessive lateral play or binding.

• Pre-Flight Taxi Check: Place the aircraft on a flat surface and push it forward by hand to verify that both wheels track straight and provide sufficient propeller ground clearance.
