Military Black Tail Rotor Blade Propeller Set for RC ERA C184 MD530
Eliminate Tail Blow-Outs, Fix Aggressive Heading Drift, and Restore Accurate Tactical Scale Flight Profiles
During high-speed banks, low-altitude hovering, or abrupt collective pitch pull-ups, the tail rotor must spin at extreme RPMs to counteract the main motor's torque. Minor tail clips against weeds or micro-fractures from transport wear will warp the propeller profile or nick the leading edges, causing severe aerodynamic thrust loss. For the 1/48 scale RC ERA C184 MD530, a damaged tail propeller leads to an unstable yaw axis, lazy heading-hold locks, and continuous tail-wagging that compromises the optical flow positioning data. This factory-original tactical black tail blade replacement kit completely fixes heading instability, ensuring crisp, locked-in rudder responses and an authentic military scale appearance. Ships worldwide.
Product Highlights
Authentic Matte Black Military Design: Styled in a non-reflective, low-visibility tactical black composite polymer finish to perfectly match the armed scale contours of the military MD530 helicopter.
High-Efficiency Aerodynamic Curve Profile: Features a precision-molded airfoil curve optimized to deliver peak anti-torque thrust with minimum battery draw, maximizing total runtimes.
Impact-Resistant Flexible Compound Structure: Engineered from an advanced composite plastic that bends safely under minor impacts rather than shattering or throwing off tail motor balance.
Dual-Piece Maintenance Replacement Set: Packed as a matching 2-piece set, providing an immediate fix for your tail assembly and an extra backup propeller for your field-repair toolkit.
Compatibility
For the RC ERA C184 MD530 only. Full model page (specs & photos):
Old Tail Propeller Extraction: Gently grip the casing of your rear core brushless tail motor; use a small steady pulling motion to slide the damaged plastic tail blade off the steel motor output shaft without bending the axle.
Correct Pitch and Direction Alignment: Slide the new black C184 tail propeller onto the motor pin; double-check the structural orientation to ensure the curved aerodynamic leading edge faces the correct rotational path as specified in your layout guide.
Securing the Shaft Friction Fit Placement: Press the center hub of the blade firmly onto the shaft until it sits snug against the motor collar; leave a microscopic spacing gap (around 0.5mm) between the blade plastic and the motor housing to prevent friction drag.
Heading-Hold Tracking Verification: Set the reassembled C184 helicopter down on your flat technical workspace pad; turn on your transmitter and spin up the main blades slowly to confirm that the tail rotor tracks straight, allowing the downward optical flow sensor camera to stabilize positioning telemetry with zero tail-wagging.
